Forli
Forlì Cesena (Forlì 0 km - Cesena 18 km): Palazzo Albertini Forlì was founded by the Romans in the second century B.C. being a junction at the crossroads of the Via consolare Emilia and the road to Tuscany.
The town is rich in culture and the historic centre preserves important traces of its past. In particoular, around Piazza Saffi, where they face the romanic Abbey of San Mercuriale with its bell tower and cloister, the XX century Palazzo delle Poste, the City Council Building and the Civic Tower, the XV century Palazzo del Podestà and Palazzo Albertini. It deserves a visit the Civic Art Gallery that conserves the Ebe of Canova, some works of Palmezzano and other famous artists. Not to lose an historical walk long the main streets until the Museums San Domenico and to the Ravaldino?s Fortress, or between the buildings of the Fascism in Piazzale della Victoria and Viale della Libertà.
