Aosta Valley: Situated in the extreme north-west of Italy, Valle d'Aosta lays at the feet of the southern side of Mont Blanc: to the west is the French border and to the north, the Swiss border. Valle d'Aosta is easily reached from the following international airports- it is approximately 1 hour fromTurin ( Caselle) airport , 1 hour 30 minutes from Milan Malpensa and via the newly re-opened Mont Blanc Tunnel, it is about 1 hour 30 minutes from Geneva Airport.
In Valle d'Aosta there are all kinds of quality restaurants. The regional cuisine is appreciated by gourmets and this is reinforced by the fame of Aostan cuisine, which carries far beyond our borders. Valle d'Aosta is one of the regions with the most "stars" in the Alps. It boasts more than 500 hotels and tourist residences, of which over half have at least 3 or 4 stars.
